Manny is a University Place local and played soccer for Curtis, most recently continuing at Tacoma Community College. Manny completes his two-year degree at TCC in June, and he has shared an interest in continuing to pursue industry licensing and building a career in personal finance. We’re excited to see what’s ahead for him!

Would you rather never use social media again or never watch TV?
I would rather never use social media again. Both would be hard to give up, but what pushes it over the edge for me would be live sports. I don’t think I could give up live sports, and I feel like social media is more harmful to my overall productivity.
What’s a hobby that makes you lose track of time?
A hobby that makes me lose track of time would be playing soccer. I have been playing since I was old enough to walk, and continue to play even now. I lose track of everything once I start playing, and the only thing I can focus on is playing.
What’s your favorite part of your current job?
My favorite part about this job is getting to meet everyone. Everyone I have met has been so nice. It's truly an amazing experience having so many clients and getting to know them beyond just a name and a number on a spreadsheet.
